Winning the National award is always a matter of pride and honour. It is more so for me because it came for my debut production Pink which won the best film on social issues. We were trying to portray a message through the film which was accepted by the society at large. No means no became an anthem and today when I look back at the making I feel an extreme sense of emotion towards this project. It is indeed as honour to have received this recognition for a film special to my heart.
